The Villager Revolution of 2023 began on June 1, 2023. It began after Supreme President of Hoosierland Ava attempted to trade for a mending book with a villager that claimed to be offering them. Instead of a mending book, the villager was actually offering only bookshelves. To Ava's annoyance, she broke the lectern and replaced it a total of 18 times in an attempt to get the mending book trade back. After the 19th attempt, the villager offered curse of binding, in which Ava gave up and buried the villager in a pit of dirt. The other villagers then swarmed the stand and blocked her in the room with the spawner. Furthermore, the villagers refused to take the job offered at the lectern.
The revolution has been described as left-wing and proletarian, as the villagers revolted against the poor working conditions and authority of Hoosierland in an attempt to received fairer working conditions and more organization.
