The Edisto Parkway (U.S. 376) is an SPUR Highway of U.S. Route 76 running through part of the Upstate and the Southeast of South Carolina. it runs from Anderson to North Carolina State Line. It is tied with SC 6 for being the Longest Highway in the State. Even dethroning it's Parent Route.

Route Description[]

Anderson to North Augusta[]

US 376 starts at it's Parent Route, US 76, it heads towards I-85 and I-21 before exiting the City. It heads Southwest and meets SC 184 in Donalds, It heads towards Greenwood as it meets SC Highways 34 and 72, It then crosses the Upstate-Midlands Line and enters Saluda as it makes Junctions with US 378, US 178, SC 121 and SC 39. It then continues Southwest towards Council River and enters Brave Cookie. It then continues West towards Council Oaks and Wellington meeting SC 592, SC 259 and SC 630. then heads South towards Edgefield as it meets US 25 and SC 121 as well as SC 630 and US 378. It then heads towards North Augusta.

North Augusta to Red Oaks[]

The Route continues as a 4-Lane Highway as it Encounters I-20 and I-520, It then continues Northeast as it exits off I-520. It meets an Interchange with Orson Bridge Road, After crossing the Mt. Palm River, It continues North where it meets US 1 in Grantieville. As it continues through Aiken it meets I-20 again for a 8 Mile Currency until it exits of I-20 as it continues through Monetta it eventually reaches Red Oaks when it meets SC 259 Bus.

Lexington County to Colleton County[]

US 376 continue straight towards Archerville where the highway meets SC 592, It then heads North towards Lexington as it heads towards Columbia. The Roadway continues as Edisto Parkway (US 376) and later merging with I-26 before entering Cayce and exiting Columbia, It merges away from I-26 and heads towards Swansea where it meets SC 6 and continues Northeast meeting US 21 before leaving the Lexington County. In the Orangeburg County, The Route meets US 301 and then heads Southeast to Bamberg County. It meets SC 518 Alternate as it enters Bamberg, It head towards US 301/601, Then it Parallels US 601 as both Highways enter Colleton County.

Colleton-Charleston County, Beginning Of I-695, End Of The East Edisto Parkway[]

In Colleton County the Highway heads towards Ark Hill where it meets SC 259, It then head towards Walterboro as it meets I-95. This is also where I-695 begins, The Route continues Northwest to Rushton Crossroads while going North to Adams Run where it meets US 17, It then Parallels SC 174, As both highways head towards Edisto Beach, The route turns West and heads towards Daisy Island where it then heads to Charleston where it enters Charleston County and meets SC 171, SC 61 and SC 700 as the route turns West it meets SC 30 as it's last major junction before ending at I-26/US 17.

Georgetown to North Carolina State Line[]

Edisto Parkway roughly Parallels US 17. It heads towards Chester Island where it meets US 517 near the Coast. It then goes Southwest to Mount Pleasant where it meets US 17 again, It later heads Northeast to Pauline Hills where it meets US 517 again, It then exits Charleston County and heads West towards Georgetown and Passes through Murrells Inlet where it meets US 17 Business. After this it enters Horry County, It heads towards Garden City, it then turns West, then it continues Northeast to Conway, In Conway the Route meets US 501 as it exits Conway, It enters Myrtle Beach as it meets Several Other Highways, It heads North towards the City where it meets US 17 once again, US 501, SC 31 and finally SC 22. It meets SC 65 in North Myrtle Beach, After this the Route exits the City by heading Northeast to Ocalaville County again, then West to Little River where it meets SC 9 and US 17. It then continues to Parallel US 17 as both Highways head toward the North Carolina State Border, Edisto Parkway ends One Mile before the North Carolina State Line.

Lexington County Widening & Tolls[]

In 2039, The Section in Lexington County was planned to be widened to 6 Lanes. Tolls were also planned to be added through Charleston County.
