The Realm of Aborshine, was a far right, quasi-religious post-Imperial power that controlled the Districts of Long Island and New York in the wake of the fragmentation of the American Empire. It was the second entity to declare independence from the Empire.

Foundation of the Order of Aborshine (1978)[]
Shortly after the Proclamation of the American Empire, Emperor William Aborshine authorized the creation of the Order of Aborshine. The Order was a multi-role organization that answered solely to the Emperor. Their duties included spying on potential domestic and foreign enemies, assassinating enemies of the state, and personally protecting the Emperor and Aborshine family. What separated the Order from the Imperial Intelligence and Enforcement Buerau was their fanatical, borderline religious devotion to William Aborshine and the Aborshine family. This was because the Order was made up of Aborshine's most radical and fanatical followers.
Fragmentation of the Empire (2084->2086)[]
On December 2, 2084 Emperor Mark Aborshine died. Aborshine had five sons, all of whom desired to rule, sparking a massive succession crisis. The Imperial Governing Council, traditionally responsible for swearing in Emperors and fearing the outbreak of a civil war, attempted to mediate the situation.The council met with the siblings and attempted to work out a solution, however, the siblings rejected all proposals. The next several months were racked by a power struggle as each sibling contended for power and influence in an effort to win the Emperorship.
Finally on September 8, 2085, the Governing Council decided that, for the greater good of the Empire, a more permanent solution would be needed. The council began to hold secret talks with the Imperial Intelligence and Enforcement Bureau, Imperial Ministry of Truth and Enlightenment, and Grand Marshall Lance Corvus. Corvus had always desired the position of Emperor for himself and reciprocated the Governing Council's offer to give the Emperorship to him. What was unclear at the moment was what the fate of the Aborshine family would be. After a significant period of deliberation, it was decided that the Aborshine’s would be wiped out entirely.
On July 31, 2086, The siblings were slain. The next day on August 1, 2086, Corvus publicly announced that the Aborshine family had been found guilty of a conspiracy to destroy the American Empire, and had been executed the night before. The Imperial Governing Council officially proclaimed Corvus the next Emperor. The announcement sent shock-waves throughout the Empire, with a diverse array of reactions occurring within the Imperial population. Just as diverse were the reactions from the Imperial government itself. Only Corvus, his soldiers located within the Marshall's Palace, the Imperial Governing Council, and the highest ranking members of the IIEB and IMTE had known of the plot beforehand. Thus, most of the government was just as surprised as the rest of the Imperial population when the Aborshines were killed and Corvus was proclaimed Emperor.
Many of the Imperial Governors and Colonial Administrators felt angered that they had not been informed of the plot, feeling betrayed by Corvus and the Governing Council. Many of the Generals and other leaders of the Imperial Military felt the same. Riots soon broke out in Imperial Center and Corvus came to be viewed a nothing but a usurper.
The Order of Aborshine secretly declared a "blood revenge" on Corvus's entire bloodline, and began plotting to locate Corvus's family members and eradicate them completely. The IIEB, now regretting it's decision to aid the ruling council and Corvus, began planning to dispose Corvus. Corvus's reign would end before it truly began, as on August 19, 2086, he was killed when a bomb was detonated inside his residence. The bomb had been planted by IIEB agents who had disguised themselves as his own guards.
With Corvus's death and the position of Emperor again left vacant, the Empire descended into chaos as all notions of a unified Imperial Government disintegrated. The majority of the Empire's colonies and districts found themselves independent amidst the Imperial collapse; merging together and forming countless "Mini-Empires."
Foundation of the Realm of Aborshine (2086)[]
In the days prior to Corvus's death, the Order, having already anticipated the Empire's collapse, massed their forces in key locations throughout the Sectors of Long Island and New York. On August 21, 2086, hours after the Southwest Overdistrict declared independence, the leaders of the Order proclaimed the creation of the Realm of Aborshine.
Operation Strikefast[]
Minutes after the Realm's proclamation. the Order of Aborshine initiated Operation Strikefast. Strikefast was an operation designed to capture all key locations throughout both Long Island and New York within the span of a few hours, quickly securing total control over the territories of both districts.
