Random Librarian Villager (born May 29/30, 2023) is a Hoosier villager and librarian whose burial in The Pit was considered the pivotal cause of the Villager Revolution of 2023, and during which he was seen as a martyr representative of the mistreatment of villagers. One of several villagers in the Trading Hall of Southern Hoosierland, the villager worked as a librarian, known for offering bookshelves at a rate of 9 emeralds to shoppers. However, a mistake in the labeling of his shop led to his shop labeling itself as one carrying mending, a highly desirable enchanted book. This caught the attention of Supreme President of Hoosierland Ava Gamer 27, who shunned the villager for carrying bookshelves when claiming to instead offer mending, and she attempted to coerce him into offering mending.

The villager refused to budge on his offer of bookshelves, in what Ava considered to be a sign of defiance and rebellion, and after he eventually instead offered her a curse of binding book, Ava buried him in a pit as a short-term punishment out of frustration. In response, a large rebellion broke out almost immediately amongst the other villagers, who swarmed Ava and blocked her in the stand. This uprising would last several minutes before most of the villagers returned to their regular business, however several would continue to attempt to block Ava in the stand, and when that failed knocked her back into the stand several times. She would eventually escape the trading hall, and formally pardoned the villager shortly thereafter, pledging to release the villager and allow him to return to his previous job as a bookshelf seller.
